College hockey on btn

As the community of loyal and dedicated Gopher hockey fans, we demand resolution in the conflict between the Big Ten Network and its incompetence in broadcasting college hockey. Currently, the majority of Gopher games are readily accessible on Fox Sports Net, included in standard cable. However, this availability is quickly waning, as the contract between the University of Minnesota and Fox Sports Net is set to soon expire. This being the case, we demand that the Big Ten Network acknowledge the college hockey community, make a more concerted effort to accommodate their potential clientele, and prioritize hockey on an equal plane with more mainstream sports.

At the VERY least-allow all games not aired by BTN to b shown on FSN. Witholding games from the fans can only harm the program.

Gopher hockey is a major sport in this area and had better get its due representation. If the Big Ten Network takes its rights, it had better be showing the games every Friday and Saturday night without any tape delay.

Do the right thing. Get a deal done with Comcast and broadcast the games live, or get out of the way and let FSN do what they have been doing so well for many, many years. Don't hold Gophers hockey hostage from the people who really want to see it.
