End dont ask dont tell sign now

To: U.S. Congress
We the people, petition to end the: Dont ask dont tell policy.
We ask congress and the new president of the United States, to acknowledge that all people are to be treated equally. We state by signing this document that we do not stand behind government policy that excludes the rights of any individual serving in the armed forces.

Almost all absurdity of conduct arises from the imitation of those whom we cannot resemble.
~Samuel Johnson

If you are ashamed to stand by your colors, you had better seek another flag. ~Author Unknown

Why do I need to ask for equal rights under the law? This will someday be a page in civil rights history, so why not open the door now, and know that you did the right thing?
