The proposed second sequel often mentioned by Carpenter and Russell. The concept was that Earth was the only place left for Plissken to escape. with an old wise snake wandering the wastelands with a hoarse its like a modern day western it has strong parallels with now like are need to escape from the earth

Apparently, Carpenter completed a script for the project eight years ago but the studio has now taken an interest in it after Russell demanded doing it before signing on with the studio for a three picture deal."
