Linux Gaming Developers sign now

Speaking as one voice, we sign our names to this petition to speak out for the need of natively coded, Linux based gaming titles. The adoption of open source operating systems by the general population is hampered by today's gaming developers' unwillingness to code the current and future gaming titles in Linux because of a lack of perceived demand from this market.

We ask that every effort be made by developers to adopt the Linux operating system as a standard platform of the gaming industry, and that resources be allocated in the industry-wide development and distribution of, all current and future software titles.

The developers who embrace this cause shall be themselves rewarded with a brand new market of gamers who typically are more technologically savvy, and also create the additional benefits of having a platform devoid of many detrimental issues that affect gaming performance such as viruses, malware, and spyware. Such an endeavor will greatly aid in the adoption of open source operating systems by the general population, and create opportunities for those who chose to participate in a monopoly-free computing environment.

Thank You for you review and consideration of our cause.
